મહામારી કોરોના સામેની લડાઈમાં લોકોને ઘરે જ રહી બહાર ન નીકળવા સલાહ આપવામાં આવી રહી છે ત્યારે અમુક વોરિયર્સ ઘર-પરિવારથી દૂર લોકોની સેવામાં છે. આવા કોરોના વોરિયર્સને ટ્રિબ્યુટ આપતા સોનાક્ષીએ એક ભાવુક કવિતા લખીને વાંચી છે જેમાં તેણે કોરોના વોરિયર્સની સંઘર્ષગાથા સંભળાવી છે.

કવિતાનો વીડિયો સોનાક્ષીએ ઇન્સ્ટાગ્રામ પર શેર કર્યો છે. તેમાં તેણે ડોક્ટર્સ, નર્સ, પોલીસની સાથે-સાથે એવા લોકોનો પણ આભાર માન્યો છે જે લોકોને જમાડીને અને ડોનેશન કરીને મદદગાર થઇ રહ્યા છે. વીડિયો નીચે તેણે લખ્યું કે, જ્યારે જ્યારે કોરોનાની હારનો ઉલ્લેખ થશે ત્યારે આ જ કોવિડ હીરોઝનું નામ હશે. મારા તરફથી કોવિડ હીરોઝને એક નાનકડું ટ્રિબ્યુટ.

ખુદના ડ્રોઇંગ્સની હરાજી કરીને ફંડ એકત્રિત કર્યું
થોડા દિવસો પહેલાં સોનાક્ષીએ રોજમદાર શ્રમિકો માટે ફંડ એકઠું કરવા માટે તેના પેન્ટિંગ્સની હરાજી કરી હતી. આ કામ તેણે અર્જુન કપૂરની બહેન અંશુલા કપૂરના ફેનકાઈન્ડ પ્રોગ્રામ હેઠળ કર્યું હતું. એક્ટ્રેસ જેક્લીન ફર્નાન્ડીઝે પણ આ હરાજીમાં તેની બોલી લગાવી હતી.
