લદ્દાખની ગાલવન વેલીમાં ભારત તથા ચીનના સૈનિકો વચ્ચે થયેલી હિંસક અથડામણમાં ભારતના કમાન્ડિંગ ઓફિસર સહિત 20 જવાનો શહીદ થયા હતાં. આ ઘટના 15 જૂને મોડી સાંજે બની હતી. જવાનો શહીદ થતાં બોલિવૂડ સેલેબ્સે સોશિયલ મીડિયામાં સૈન્ય જવાનો પ્રત્યે સંવેદના વ્યક્ત કરી હતી.
અક્ષય કુમારે ટ્વીટ કરીને કહ્યું હતું, આપણાં સૈન્ય જવાનોના નિધનથી ઘેરો આઘાત લાગ્યો. રાષ્ટ્ર તેમની અમૂલ્ય સેવા બદલ હંમેશાં યાદ રાખશે.
